Countries that Use the Most Makeup

Question: "Which countries in the world use the most makeup?"
Answer: "Read on!"

So in this post I decided it might be intersting and well, geography related if I found out what countries in the world use the most make-up and I hope I found out!

According to this very informative research report;  http://www.fastmr.com/catalog/product.aspx?productid=58043&dt=t
the U.S.A. has the biggest makeup market, while Brazil has the best market for potential growth. In Europe, Russia and the U.K lead the field in the biggest makeup markets. Japan is still dominating Asia's makeup market but China is fast catching up!

But one must remember the makeup usage varies from country to country. The country's culture hugely affects the type of makeup and the amount of makeup used. makeup usage depends on the country as does the product features and benefits desired by the consumer.

So I guess thats all for now. Byeeeee!

Top 10 Weirdest Ingrediants EVER

Ok so I thought that fish scales in mascara was weird but apparently (according to this site: http://thebeautybrains.com/2008/07/23/the-10-strangest-ingredients-used-in-cosmetics/) it gets even weirder so here goes!

 I hope your sitting comfortably!

 10: PLACENTA
It is claimed* that placenta is the wonder ingredient in keeping our skin wrinkle free and gives our hair that glossy shine.
(*note these claims have never been proven)

9: WHALE VOMIT
Thankfully this has now been mostly replaced by synthetic alternatives but whale vomit can be used found in some perfumes. So next time you spritz on your Chanel No5 spare a thought for the poor whale who wasn't feeling very well! (Please note I have no idea whether or not Chanel uses whale vomit in its perfumes.)

8: COCHINEAL BEETLES
These beetles when boiled, crushed and dried actually produce a deep crimson red colour which is versatile enough to be used in most beauty products.

7: WASTE COOKING OIL
According to scientists a surfactant can be made from waste cooking oil that can help regenerate damaged skin cells.

6: HUMAN BREAST MILK
I honestly have NO idea about this one but some people swear by it?! You didn't hear it from me!

5: BIRD POOP
The Geisha Facial comes with a big price tag and a big scoop of Nightingale poop...some say its great for the skin...
4: BULL SEMEN
Some salons in Europe believe that the protein in bull semen is the way to go if ant shiny hair. Maybe don't try this at home!

3: SNAKE VENOM
Snake Venom is the new and improved way to combat wrinkles, again this has not been proven . Although some believe it works the same way as Botox but whether or not this is a good thing is up to you so...

2: CHICKEN BONE MARROW
Sorry guys I have no idea about this one! Does a good source of glucosamine sound familiar?

1: COW DUNG
Yep, yet again I'm back to the dung but this stuff is supposed to make a lovely sweet smelling vanilla fragrance!
